PG&E Has a Few Programs to Assist Income-Qualified Households:
PG&E’s Energy Savings Assistance Program provides income-qualified renters and homeowners with easy, free solutions to help manage their energy use and save money on their monthly energy bills. You may be eligible for the following services provided by PG&E: Improvements to your house or apartment including compact fluorescent lights, caulking, showerheads, minor home repair, insulation and more. CARE: California Alternative Rates for Energy is a monthly discount on energy bills for income-qualified households. For more information, call 1-866-743-2273.
Small & Medium Businesses
PG&E has Energy Saving Rebates and incentives available for businesses. Go to PG&E business savings and click on your industry type to see the options available. If you are in the food service industry, PG&E has a food service technology center in San Ramon for PG&E customers. There are lots of services available for free that can really help your business save money, including training and design assistance to help your restaurant be energy smart, and more.
