City renewable energy use

The City of Dublin currently generates 19% of its energy needs with the solar voltaic arrays. The remaining energy comes from East Bay Community Energy (EBCE). EBCE provides the City with 100% renewable energy because we opted up to Renewable 100 for all municipal accounts!

Of the building energy consumed, 57% is produced by the solar arrays at the Civic Center, Dublin Library, Fire Station 16, Fire Station 17, Fire Station 18, Shannon Center, and the Senior Center.
