History Detectives: A Noir Investigation into Dublin's Past
Wednesday, April 12, 2017
Set in a detective’s office in Dublin sometime between the Great Depression and WWII, visiting detectives can try to solve true mysteries by perusing through vintage facsimile documents and photographs to gather true history clues. Discover who’s who by examining “Sleuth Trunks” filled with vintage photo albums, letters and newspaper clippings that tell mysterious stories from Dublin’s past. Study case files and learn about some of Dublin’s more colorful characters like the visionary Lois Jordon (aka the White Angel), who ran a soup kitchen in Dublin. While set in a fun and fictitious environment, the exhibit will have solid facts and provide clues that will lead the way to successful research for historians and the curious of all ages. This exhibit is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, only.
